    2008 WSA Industry Achievement Awards - Applications are now open!

    The WSA, Washington's Technology Association, has just announced the kick-off of the 13th Annual Industry Achievement Awards event by forming a committee made up of both members and non-members, that is hard at work developing the best IAA event yet!  Applications are now being accepted for those companies, organization and individuals that would like to throw their hat in the ring at a chance to be honored at the upcoming Awards event.

    The 2008 WSA Industry Achievement Awards will be held on February 7, 2008 at the Westin Hotel in downtown Seattle.

    The IAA celebration, now in it's 13th year, attracts more than 1,000 business and community leaders each year - and honors companies, organizations, agencies and individuals that best demonstrate innovation and excellence in the development and use of technology.

    Awards will be presented in the following categories:

    • Business Product of the Year
    • Consumer Product of the Year
    • Service Provider of the Year
    • Best Use of Technology in the Government, Non-Profit or Education Sector
    • Technology Innovator
    • Breakthrough Technology of the Year
    • *NEW* Technology Leader of Tomorrow

    For the 2008 Celebration, the WSA is adding a new award category - "Technology Leader of Tomorrow" award, which will honor sixth to eighth grade students.  For this award, three finalists will be selected from students participating in the Technology Access Foundation's (TAF) TechStart program. 

    Applications are now open! Please log-in to your profile and apply today. Click here to go directly to the applications.  All applications are due by November 16, 2007 and applicants do not need to be WSA members in order to apply.
