Companies that have social media strategies are finding them to be a valuable tool for driving customer engagement and building brand loyalty; one that translates into real revenue and increased customer satisfaction. Companies that don’t are finding out the hard way that their customers are using services like Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, YouTube and FriendFeed to share their experiences – both good and bad — with specific brands.
At a minimum, companies need to be aware of what’s being said about them in the millions of online conversations that take place every day. Ideally, they should learn how to be an active participant in them. This panel will provide a practical overview of how companies can put social media to work for them.
- Which social networks and social media platforms are appropriate for corporate participation?
- What are some key lessons learned from companies that have taken the plunge in social media?
- How do companies measure the impact and ROI of their social media efforts?
- How can my company get started?
