HR Professionals as Leaders in the Organization

This edition of the Leadership Map Workshop is geared to the needs of HR Professionals as Leaders in the Organization. As effective strategic partners, HR professionals support individuals and teams facing complex situations. Rather than solving all problems themselves, HR professionals are more often being asked to empower their team members and stakeholders, and help them to tap into their own resources.    

This breakfast workshop conducted by Poulson Leadership Consultants will demonstrate how to use the Leadership Map framework to formulate coaching questions and track content. By using this model, HR professionals will increase their influencing skills and learn how to help their business partners be more effective. The Leadership Map helps professionals move through complex situations and quickly identify the best course of action.

The Leadership Map Workshop helps improve leadership skills that produce results in the workplace. In this 3.5hr workshop, we will practice:

•  Clarifying and communicating intentions
•  Analyzing complex situations to determine the most effective course of action
• Recognizing how one’s thought processes are helping or hindering task achievement
• Use the Leadership Map as a coaching tool 

By using the tools presented in this session you will be able to:

•  Reduce overwhelm
• Make better choices in intense situations
• Increase clarity around desired outcomes in the shorter and longer term
• Lead yourself and others by focusing on what matters the most
