The Washington Technology Industry Association has expanded our partnership with Regence Blue Shield to offer individual coverage as an excellent solution for anyone who is not currently on a group health insurance plan.
Not every employer is ready or able to fund group health care coverage. Additionally, many employees do not qualify for employer-sponsored health coverage. Sole proprietorships, temporary or part-time workers, contractors, and dependents of employee-only plans often have no access to group coverage.
How It Works
Under this new program, employees can select and apply for Regence Blue Shield’s individual health policies using an easy enrollment site (https://wtia.arrayhealth.com). Their employer then receives one monthly bill for all covered employees in order to payroll deduct the insurance premiums. It’s that simple.
