- WTIA works with elected policymakers, federal and state agencies, educational institutions, economic development agencies, chambers of commerce, business and civic organizations across the state and beyond to create, promote and sustain a supportive and positive business and economic climate and to reduce and eliminate obstacles for technology entrepreneurs
- The only tech association with a full time in-house government affairs executive/lobbyist, WTIA is a key voice/defender of issues important to the industry, such as: R&D tax credit, engineering capacity in higher education, and K-12 math standards
- WTIA has experience “running bills” through the legislature specific to the interests of individual companies
Community/Stewardship
- WTIA and its members give back to the community in meaningful ways. Through WITA’s partnership with Technology Access Foundation (TAF), we help minority kids experience and learn technology, preparing them to be future leaders in the industry
