The Bellingham/Whatcom Technology Alliance Group (TAG) was formed in 1999 to address the needs of a growing technology industry in Whatcom County. As the industry evolved, membership grew and an increasing number of companies were positively impacted by TAG's mission to promote, educate, and advocate for Northwest Washington technology businesses.

Today TAG is the Northwest Regional Community of the Washington Technology Industry Association, serving technology businesses in Whatcom, Skagit, Island and San Juan counties. Our mission remains the same, but affiliation with the Washington Technology Industry Association has broadened our scope. In addition to enhanced networking, advocacy, and educational opportunities, the Washington Technology Industry Association offers TAG the power of a considerable purchasing cooperative, an industry knowledge-base and a state-wide resource for employment opportunities in the technology industry.

For members in Northwest Washington, TAG offers the advantage of monthly meetings highlighting member businesses and locally developed technologies. We meet on third Friday of each month, except August.

Membership in the Northwest Regional Community of the Washington Technology Industry Association brings unequivocal value to individuals and companies working with technology, or technology-related businesses or corresponding issues.
