Washington Technology Industry Association is pleased to announce its newest regional chapter, the Southwest Washington Chapter of the Washington Technology Industry Association, which launched in May 2006. Washington Technology Industry Association's chapter partner is the Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC). You can view their website here to see how they help businesses succeed in Clark County.
Clark County and Southwest Washington are home to many innovative companies, particularly in the semiconductor and hardware research arena. World class companies such as Hewlett Packard, Sharp, SEH and nLight employ hundreds of engineers and technicians who are doing cutting edge research. Increasingly, software and other high-tech companies are growing in the area that complement the existing base of high-tech manufacturing and research, enabling Clark County and Southwest Washington to be another solid hub for the state's burgeoning technology sector.
We look forward to serving the Southwest Washington tech community with business services, advocacy and lobbying, and with content-rich events that the Washington Technology Industry Association will work on collaboratively with CREDC.
