The WTIA is getting ready to update our marketing material and we need photos of REAL people in REAL tech companies. Stock photos just won’t cut it.

Enter the 2015 WTIA photo contest: We want pictures of you, our members, to be featured on our printed and digital marketing assets, including our website, annual report, welcome kit, and brochures. This is a great opportunity to showcase your company’s unique culture and the people that make it special.

Photo contest guidelines and disclosures:

• Must be an active WTIA member to participate.
• Our objective is to capture the different cultures within Washington tech companies – We’re looking for pictures of work environments that are dynamic, creative, and perhaps a little quirky! Photos with employees collaborating, your products being tested, and other action shots are ideal – See previous winning photos below.
• The contest runs through December 6th. No photos submitted after 12/6/15 will be accepted.
• Images should be 300 dpi or higher in a JPG or TIF format for print. This means digital photos should be at least 1800 pixels in width to print at 6″ x 8″ at 300 ppi. (Please do not resize any photos; we’ll do that for you!)
• Submit up to five photos to photocontest@washingtontechnology.org. Make sure to include your company name in the subject of your email.
• By participating in the contest, you are giving the WTIA expressed permission to use the photos in the manner described above as well as list your company name with the photo when appropriate.

Winner will receive a complimentary member video profile (valued at $5,000) and will be announced before the end of the 2015!
