The Washington Technology Industry Association DEI Center of Excellence is delighted to recognize and honor your company’s progress toward achieving diversity, equity and inclusion wins for your employees, clients, and stakeholders. We understand the obstacles and barriers to meaningful DEI work. It is important to celebrate the success of our Pact signatories and partner companies in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion goals in their organizations.
Companies may self-nominate. Companies across all geographic regions are invited to submit a nomination, regardless of affiliation with the WTIA and/or the WTIA Anti-Racism in Tech Pact. All nominators (plus 2 guests) will receive free admission to the 2021 WTIA DEI Summit.
Winning Organizations Will Receive:
- $2,000 discount on WTIA DEI Center of Excellence annual subscription
- Recognition at the DEI Summit
- Your company highlighted in WTIA media outreach
- Digital “badge” that can be featured in your organization’s website, social media, email signatures, etc.
Judging Process
WTIA staff will review nominations and select three awardees based on the number of employees. Awards categories are companies with:
< 50 employees
51-250 employees
251+ employees
ARIT Pact signatory nominations will be reviewed according to alignment with the ARIT roadmap. Nominations for non-Pact organizations will be reviewed according to a demonstrated commitment to DEI and/or promoting anti-racist values.
Timing
Nominations are due October 13.
All companies will be notified of their nomination status by October 25.
