About the Speakers:
Bora Beran, Program Manager, Tableau Software
Bora Beran is the Program Manager at Tableau Software focused on statistics, calculations and ETL. Prior to joining Tableau, Bora worked at Microsoft Research, SQL Server and Windows HPC Server on tools and infrastructure for large scale computational modeling/simulations, data mining, visualization and knowledge representation. He holds a PhD from Drexel University and is a reviewer for several scholarly journals in the area of technical computing.

Stephen Purpura, CEO & Founder, Context Relevant
Purpura is the founder and CEO of Context Relevant, a Seattle-based predictive analytics company. The impetus behind Context Relevant technology is a result of the insights gained from his 20 years of experience as a data scientist, an inventor, an academic, and a production software developer, a leading expert in artificial intelligence, machine learning, political micro-targeting and predictive analytics.
Previously, Purpura held various roles at Microsoft, including the Chief Security Officer of MSFDC, one of the first Internet bill payment systems. He holds numerous technology patents.
