Event Recap: EWiT: Addressing the Shame that Kills Innovation, Connection, and Well-being with Anakha Coman
At the EWiT: Addressing the Shame that Kills Innovation, Connection, and Well-being, on Oct. 28, Anakha Coman shared both her personal and corporate experience of the shame that kills innovation, connection and well-being. Her presentation helped participants: 1) learn about the scarcity epidemic in corporate culture of “never enough” and the shift from a shame-based culture to a culture that thrives with innovation, connection and well-being; 2) understand the correlation between shame and the risk-taking and vulnerability that create cultures of innovation, connection and well-being; and 3) become aware of the universal shame triggers and creating shame resilience through the practice of vulnerability and empathy.
