2014 has been a banner year for the WTIA health insurance offering, with over 150 new companies joining the Trust in the first six months of the year!! In an effort to better support our constituency and augment the value of the WTIA health insurance plan, we are excited to announce a new online resource for participating employers. The name of the tool is SIMON and it has been specifically developed to help participating WTIA employers administer and manage employee benefits.

Features in this release of SIMON include:

• Pay and reconcile bills
• Add employees and dependents using an enhanced step-by-step wizard
• Set up multiple bank accounts for paying your bill online
• Access help topics and plan information details

We are very excited about the SIMON roadmap. Users can expect routine upgrades to SIMON as we strive to provide our members with the best experience possible. New features to be released in the coming months include:

• Employee self-service
• Export features for reporting purposes
• Support for worksite and voluntary Benefits
• Plan notifications
