Entrepreneur University

The fifteenth year of our annual flagship event marked a departure from standard conference fare: no canned presentations, just engaged conversations.

EUOur audience of over 250 attendees got to be the proverbial “fly on the wall,” eavesdropping on conversations between some of the region’s top CEOs:

  • Concur CEO Steve Singh and LiquidPlanner CEO Liz Pearce enjoyed a cup of coffee and conversation.
  • Nonprofit CEOs Monty Montoya (Sight Life) and Robin Wolaner (Vittana) compared notes on running their nonprofits as viable businesses.
  • Aussie entrepreneurs Dave McLauchlan (Buddy.com CEO) and the inimitable Jenni Hogan chatted over a Foster’s about startups.
  • The UW’s Andy Boyer moderated a lively panel on the lifecycle of startups, featuring Andrew Dumont, Director of Business Development at Moz, Mariah Gentry, CEO at Joey Bra Kelly Smith, CEO at Curious Office.
  • Jordan Weisman of Harebrained Schemes closed out this jam-packed day, sharing his adventures on the wild ride of a startup.

Check out some of the Primetime Pitches that these startups had the opportunity to film at Entrepreneur University thanks to Flip the Media and Jenni Hogan, CEO of TVinteract .
