Seattle Innovators April Event: CAN AI WORK BACKWARDS?

April 25 @ 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm

We’re on a roll! Please join us for our 4th event, April 25th, 4:00-6:30 p.m. at the amazing Seattle Collective, in South Lake Union!

For this event we will try a new format: live training and collaborative innovation!

We will be testing whether AI, and ChatGPT specifically, can effectively complete Working Backwards and related documents–and automate Amazon’s primary innovation process!

This includes:

  1. Brief, High Level Training on the Working Backwards Method
  2. How to improve Working Backwards with other concepts, including Jobs to be Done.
  3. Specific instruction and prompts that you can use for AI to be your partner in creating your Working Backwards and related docs for you!
  4. Live demonstration and refinement of these concepts.

Bring a laptop or phone, and follow along live!

Bring your team or co-founder, and see how you can start using AI RIGHT NOW to help create better ideas.

Led by former Amazon leader Trent Gillespie, who now consults and speaks on innovation topics and guides leaders on how to create innovative products and organizations.

According to Steve Jobs, “Innovation is the only way to win”, yet few people understand what it is, and even fewer have been trained on how to accomplish it. That’s why 96% of innovation projects fail!

To overcome this, Day One Innovation is kicking off the Seattle Innovators meet-up events, to provide a unique opportunity for anyone who wants to advance their careers and businesses, by learning the best ways to innovate, from business practices to the latest technologies.

Presented by Trent Gillespie, Chief Innovation Officer of Day One Innovation, this is intended be a highly-interactive, engaging event series, where attendees can learn new concepts, meet new people, and get immediate value from their attendance.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND? This group is for anyone who is passionate about innovation, or wants to learn how to be better at it! That means you seek out better ways to create value, identify and launch new business models and new technologies, improve existing organizations, or generally just want to meet cool people and talk about cool stuff!

This event is no cost for the first 50 people to sign up, and then $10 to encourage attendance and reduce no-shows. Food and drinks available for purchase.

The planned schedule is below (subject to change):
4:00: Doors Open & Networking
4:30-6:00: Working Backwards Training, AI Demonstration, and Collaborative/Group Innovation
6:00-6:30: Networking and Small Group Discussion
~6:30: Move to the bar to continue discussion, or go home!

Parking available for a fee in the building or on the street.
