FullConTech 2019 Tracks Explore Different Ways to Address Community Issues
How do we create and implement successful strategies for addressing the issues we face as a community? That is the central question we’ll be exploring at FullConTech 2019. To meaningfully address the theme, we created five distinct tracks that will push attendees to re-envision community engagement in a wide range of ways and from many different perspectives. The tracks – “The Work Community,” “Census-Based Community Data,” “Companies and Schools Unite,” “Future of Work,” and “Community Health Innovation” – cover current matters in areas like talent recruitment, company culture, public health, and more. Attendees will be able to choose a track at the conference. Read on to get a better understanding of the issues each track will dig into.
The Work Community
Core question: How do we create an organizational culture that makes our employees feel truly seen and heard so that they stay?
Goal: Determine ways to create a better company culture so that people want to stay.
Census-Based Community Data
Core question: How do we help ensure every person is counted, literally, in our community to get the data that powers all of our organizations?
Goal: Make sure people fill out the census so we can all be served.
Companies and Schools Unite
Core question: How do we create new partnerships to effectively source diverse talent?
Goal: Get more scrappy with your recruiting strategy.
Future of Work
Core question: How do we rethink the way our community treats freelancers, contractors, and gig economy workers?
Goal: Stop worrying about machines taking over jobs when you can’t even take care of the employees you do have.
Community Health Innovation
Core question: How can we innovate and address one of the biggest challenges facing our community: behavioral health?
Goal: Brainstorm how we can work across sectors to boost our community’s overall health.
