Global Startup Expo: First 3D Immersive Virtual Expo Dedicated to Startup Companies
I would like to invite the WTIA community to attend for FREE the Global Startup Expo – the first online 3D virtual fair dedicated to startups – taking place online November 19-20, 2015.
Global Startup Expo
The Global Startup Expo is the first online 3D immersive avatar-based virtual fair catered to startup companies across all sectors.
On November 19 and 20, over 100 startups will showcase their products and services through virtual booths and everyone attending for free will have the unique opportunity to network and interact with VCs, investors and strategic investors online.
The main partner of the event is UniCredit Start Lab, the accelerator program of UniCredit Group, one of the largest European banking groups operating in more than 50 countries, with over 148,000 employees with a concentration in Italy and Central and Eastern Europe.
Why the Global Startup Expo is relevant to WTIA Members
The Global Startup Expo is a terrific opportunity for US businesses to get to know the European startup landscape and main players. It is a great opportunity to quickly get in touch with the right people, especially if you are thinking about expanding your business into the European market, to network, meet European investors, potential customers and partners.
I think it will be particularly interesting for those companies that are aiming to open their European arm.
I know about this opportunity because I am Marketing Program Manager at Hyperfair, the startup company that has developed the 3D immersive VR platform for online virtual events on which the Global Startup Expo is hosted.
I think there are many benefits in attending. If you are interested in taking a look, you just need to register here and access the 3D environment from your browser on November 19 and 20.
You will be able to meet hundreds of people by walking around with your avatar. It is a lot of fun, it is quick and easy, and it is really useful. You can do keyword-based search, teleport, visit booths, quickly exchange hundreds of business cards, chat, talk and engage in meaningful conversations with exhibiting companies and other attendees.
In my view, it is a great experience and an interesting opportunity to get a unique and direct insight into the European and Italian startup landscape, market and main stakeholders from the comfort of your home.
