Meet 2015 Fall First Look Forum Semifinalists

Over sixty ventures applied to the 2015 Fall First Look Forum Competition and the semifinalists were selected on Oct. 19. These semifinalists come from Seattle, the Eastside, northwestern Washington,  as well as lower British Columbia and represent a wide range of services and products such as retail food, health care, fitness, bike rentals, biotech, software, mobile learning, and e-commerce.

WTIA’s First Look Forum is a free pitch training and coaching program for seed-stage entrepreneurs who are serious about raising money for their venture and who have never publicly pitched. The finalists compete for a $10,000 prize in front of an audience of investors who are getting a “first look” at these entrepreneurs.

Meet the 2015 Fall First Look Forum  semifinalists:

Now the semifinalists will get paired with two coaches who will provide them with professional advice on their business model and viability. The finalists will be selected on Oct. 29 and they will continue to get coached by WTIA volunteers  in preparation for the final competition on Nov. 12 in Bellingham.
