Meet Executive Women in Technology’s New Committee Chairs

We’re honored to serve as co-chairs in building a community of Executive Women in Technology (EWIT). EWIT’s purpose is to connect executive women, build networks, and discuss the latest trends in the tech sector.

We both remember our first Washington Industry Technology Association (WTIA) meetings in the 90s (back then, WSA) as young women working to make our way in the local software industry. The high-tech industry in Washington State and WTIA have come a long way since then, transforming and diversifying our economy in stunning ways, and working to include all types of technology businesses and all types of people. By developing special interest groups like EWIT, WTIA has fostered a spirit of outreach and inclusivity.

We’ve also come a long way since then.

Ann-Marie ArcherAnn-Marie Archer is the CEO of Archer & Associates, a successful Executive Search and Recruiting Services firm that has been serving our local tech firms for the last 15 years. In addition she’s an Executive Coach, coaching executives each week in moving to the next step of their career or finding new inspiration and passion for the role they currently have.

karinaKarina Miller has helped build Impinj, Inc. from 20 employees to the more than 150 who have enabled more than 9 billion items to be connected to the Internet and established Impinj as the global market leader. She is also the co-organizer of the annual Creativity Symposium for Women Leaders and founder and principal of RockStack Consulting, supporting talented teams and entrepreneurs in being wildly successful.

WTIA has been a strong part of helping us build our networks and our careers, and we’re looking forward to making a difference for other women in technology through EWIT this year by developing compelling quarterly programs and networking events and writing guest blogs for WTIA. Topics we’re considering for this year’s programs include neuroscience, how to attract more women to your company, and building emotional intelligence. We’re always networking with other executives, reading up on the latest trends, and brainstorming new ideas for how we can make a positive impact in our community. If you’re an executive woman in technology, we look forward to hearing your ideas and meeting you at one of our upcoming events.
