Membership Monday | WTIA’s New and Renewing Members
The WTIA member community is a diverse one, to say the least! And we want to highlight some of the fun and interesting facts about our new and renewing members in this weekly series. We hope you take this opportunity to get to know your fellow WTIA members and peek behind the curtains of their (sometimes) wacky spaces.
This week’s feature company is Network Computing Architects Inc. (NCA)! Here are Susan’s responses on behalf of her company:
What is your role at your company?
Susan: Director Of Marketing (18 years!)
What is your company known for?
Susan: We build and secure networks
What do you hope to gain from your membership with WTIA?
Susan: We like to help our clients solve business problems – meeting with other technology people one on one to share best practices and hearing their technology struggles provides insight in our efforts to help.
What’s your favorite part about working in Seattle?
Susan: Great food, friendly folks
What new technological advancement interests you the most and why?
Susan: Data Security – Breach prevention is a huge part of our lives at work and at home.
What’s one unique aspect of your company’s culture?
Susan: We are all friends on Facebook
What’s a goal for your company this year?
Susan: Expansion into new states
If you were to explain your company to a room full of 6th graders, how would you go about doing so?
Susan: We help your computers talk to each other in a safe and friendly environment
What’s your favorite work perk?
Susan: Dare I mention food again- lots of it and often!
What TV show’s office most resembles your workplace dynamic?
Susan: Modern Family

Susan: Bellevue City Counsel takes turns being the mayor.

Susan: Well, no.
