The WTIA member community is a diverse one, to say the least! And we want to highlight some of the fun and interesting facts about our new and renewing members in this weekly series. We hope you take this opportunity to get to know your fellow WTIA members and peek behind the curtains of their (sometimes) wacky spaces.

This week’s feature company is X5 Solutions! Here are Keaton’s responses on behalf of his company:

What is your role at your company?

Keaton: Account Executive

What is your company known for?

Keaton: Our commitment to delivering high quality customer service.

What do you hope to gain from your membership with WTIA?

Keaton: To engrain myself and my company in one of the best tech cities in the country.

What’s your favorite part about working in Seattle?

Keaton: The people. So many interesting folks and most of them are here to better themselves and the company they are with.

What new technological advancement interests you the most and why?

Keaton: I enjoy anything to do with Managed Network Services. I believe the cloud has the ability to change the way businesses operate and would like to be a part of the work force that helps implement it.

What’s one unique aspect of your company’s culture?

Keaton: Open door policy. Unless we are in a meeting, everyone is available for you to come in and chat. I believe it helps the company come closer together.

What’s a goal for your company this year?

Keaton: To get our name out there. X5 has been dormant in its growth phase for the past couple years. We want to revamp those efforts through networking, referrals, and word of mouth. What we do is not all that cool, but how we do it is.

What’s been your favorite experience with the WTIA so far?

Keaton: We have only been a member for about two months now, but you guys put a lot of effort into the newsletters and do a great job keeping the community informed about any new developments in tech.

Which WTIA event has been your favorite to attend? Why?

Keaton: The happy hour at the Triple Door. (1/2 events I have attended)

If you were to explain your company to a room full of 6^th graders, how would you go about doing so?

Keaton: We allow your iPads and Laptops connect to the Internet.

What’s your favorite work perk?

Keaton: How casual the dress code is. Unless I have a meeting, I can come to work very busy casual.

What TV show’s office most resembles your workplace dynamic?

Keaton: 30 Rock

What was your result from the Tech Animal Quiz?

Keaton: Wolf. I’ve heard that before.

In your opinion, what’s the best thing we’ve probably never heard about in your city?

Keaton: X5 Solutions ;)

Is there a unique story behind your company name or logo?

Keaton: The 5 in our name signifies an industry standard that we comply with “5 9’s” or 99.999. This indicates you are getting the best service possible.
