WTIA member company, Northeastern University (“NEU”), has an opportunity for you. NEU is a nationally recognized research and teaching university headquartered in Massachusetts. In 2012, NEU opened up a branch campus in South Lake Union and has focused a majority of its curriculum offerings on developing technical professionals. NEU is looking for an adjunct faculty member to teach Java programming starting in January of 2015.
The Java course is referred to as INFO 5100 course. It covers the basics of Java programming such as arrays, control structures, class definitions, class hierarchies, inheritance, objects, streams, constructors, collections, and GUI components.
This course supports a bigger program objective: To teach students advanced design and architecture techniques to build applications in diverse domains such as technology, manufacturing, healthcare and sustainability.
