Cohort 9

Congratulations to all of the Cohort 9 founders selected for the program.

Ven

Hi, we’re Daphne de Jong and Jessica Lundin, CEO and CTO of Ven. We’re narrowing the gap between Electric Vehicle (EV) adoption and insufficient charging infrastructure. We are creating a marketplace for e-Mobility charging, including EVs, by directly connecting e-Mobility users with residential and commercial chargers, increasing charging coverage and decreasing range anxiety. Our target customers are two fold, both EV users as well as private and commercial charging operators. Our business model is C2C, we charge a flat rate for each charge and a percentage of the final charge, with subscription models available for businesses. Our multi-year goal is to make EV charging more like charging a mobile phone versus going to a gas station by increasing availability and shortening the session charging time, increasing battery lifecycle management. We want to be the one stop shop for charging and show both private and public charging opportunities on our customer interface. We are a team of technical co-founders with extensive R&D experience in top US companies with domain knowledge. We need help with fundraising and targeted introductions to potential business partners never hurt.
