“Washington state’s unemployment rate hit a seven-year low in September. The state’s jobless figure last month was 5.2 percent, according to preliminary seasonally adjusted estimates from the state Employment Security Department (ESD). That’s down from 5.3 percent in August and 6.2 percent in September 2014. The last time the state jobless figure was that low was in June 2008.”
