On December 15, we hosted a holiday party in our newly renovated office at the World Trade Center for employees and WTIA members. It was a lively, well attended event by 120 members of Washington’s tech community.

We asked guests about what they’ve enjoyed about their involvement with the organization this past year. Fortunato Vega, a longtime friend of the WTIA, said what makes the WTIA such a great organization to be a part of is “the people, the culture, the mission. And they throw a mean party!” Eleanor Ferris of StrataCore has enjoyed the networking opportunities and educational events over the past year: “We have loved the Tech in Focus events, and are looking forward to seeing more of those opportunities in the new year.” Ed Kimm of Wowrack Technologies Inc. has loved being a part of WTIA in the past years, and 2014 was no exception: “WTIA has so many innovative and exciting ideas, I’m really looking forward to everything to come in 2015.”
