Retirement benefits that keep you competitive for talent.
WTIA 401(k) Program
Big-company retirement benefits, sized for your team
Larger tech companies use retirement benefits to recruit and keep people. The WTIA 401(k) Program gives member companies of any size access to the same kind of plan, without needing an in-house HR or benefits team to run it.
Plans are fully administered for you, connect directly to your payroll, and include member-only perks such as a free benchmark review of your current or planned 401(k).
A modern 401(k), built for small and mid-sized teams
WTIA works with Business Health Trust and Human Interest to offer a fully administered 401(k) platform. Human Interest serves more than 40,000 businesses and over 1 million employees, and accounts for 1 in 4 new 401(k) plans created in the U.S.
What that means for your team:
- Less admin work. Up to 95% of plan administration is automated. Employers save an average of 75+ hours a year.
- Connects to your payroll. More than 500 payroll integrations mean less manual data entry and fewer errors.
- No transaction fees. Common plan activity carries zero transaction fees.
- Plans that fit your business. Flexible plan design options for startups and established companies alike.
- Support you can count on. Fast, reliable service backed by guarantees.
Retirement benefits, handled
The WTIA 401(k) Program gives member companies a modern, fully administered retirement plan, plus added perks you won't get going direct.
What WTIA members get
Because you're a WTIA member, you get added value on top of the standard platform:
- A complimentary benchmark review of your current or planned 401(k)
- Two months of complimentary Concierge-tier service
- Ongoing discounted pricing on premium support
Get ahead of Washington Saves
- Washington Saves (RCW 19.05) takes effect in July 2027. It requires certain employers without a qualified retirement plan to facilitate retirement savings access for their employees.
- Offering a 401(k) through WTIA is one way to meet that requirement, with a plan you choose.
